The Bonneville is perhaps the very
essence to many people of what motorcycling is about – a relatively simple
machine but one that provides maximum rider enjoyment and involvement.
However some want a little more than the basic package and for this reason,
and with a further nod to the past, the T100 (so called in honour of the
legendary ’60s speedster) exists for those that want that little bit extra.
The T100 is based on the Bonneville package but uses the throaty 865
twin-cylinder engine similar to that found on the Thruxton 900. The T100,
with its tachometer, rubber knee grips on the tank and chromed engine
covers, is the very essence of style and individuality just as it was 40
years’ ago. All of the T100’s crisp coach lines are hand-painted as they
were back then.
